Uyghur Muslims (China)
China has built nearly 400 internment (concentration) camps to detain Uyghur and other Muslims in the Xinjiang area. China says these camps are to ‘re-educate’ and help those detained, but it’s believed that Muslims are restricted in practicing their religion, sterilised, forced to eat pork, raped and killed. (According to Radio Free Asia) It’s been reported that two camps appear to be separated by a cemetery and crematorium, suggesting authorities are trying to cover up deaths.
